What the tools do with your information

• Form builder. What you type, your logo and the form you download are created on your own device. They are not sent to our server.
• File tools. An ACH file you check, view or create is read by your browser. This site does not upload it.
• Routing number checker and trace number lookup. The numbers are checked on your device.

Check it yourself

Open a tool and wait until the page has fully loaded. In the form builder, type something first. Then turn off Wi-Fi or switch on airplane mode. The tool still works, because it does not send what you enter anywhere.

Reading or making an Excel file in the file tools can need the connection: the first time you do it after opening the page, it loads a helper file from this site. This site still does not send your own file anywhere.

If your browser or phone is set to save data, the form builder does not load its download tool in advance. Then your first download can need the connection too.

What is saved on your device

The site can save three things in your browser. This site does not send them anywhere.

• Your theme choice (light or dark), if you use the theme button.
• Your business details (name, address, contact details, logo, layout choices and form options), only if you tick "Remember my business details on this device".
• A draft of your form or letter, without bank numbers. It is kept until you close the tab, so a reload or a move to another form page does not lose your work.

Bank account numbers and routing numbers are never saved, not in the draft and not when that box is ticked. A signature you draw or type on this device is never saved. Nor is anything you type for a letter about payments from your own account: your name, address, bank and payment details, and the letter's wording. To remove saved details and the draft, use "Clear everything" in the form builder or clear this site's data in your browser settings.

The site itself sets no cookies. The ad code described below can save a cookie in your browser.

Ads

The site is free because it shows ads. They come from Adsterra, an ad network. Adsterra's privacy policy names the companies behind it: AD MARKET LIMITED, in Cyprus, and ADMEDIA LLC FZ, in the United Arab Emirates. We use no other ad network, and the pages load no analytics code.

How the ads load. After your first scroll, tap, click or key press on a page, your browser loads Adsterra's ad code from Adsterra's servers. The code runs on our page, in your browser. It fetches the ads and their pictures from Adsterra's servers and tells them which ads were shown. If you do none of these, no ad code is loaded.

What Adsterra gets. As with any website, Adsterra's servers see your IP address and your browser's name and version. The ad code can also see the address of the page you are on. Adsterra's cookies policy for the sites that show its ads says the ads use a pseudonymous ID, your device and browser, the date and time, and how many ads are shown and clicked, and that a cookie may be saved in your browser. The ad code can save such cookies under this site's name, achforms.com. Adsterra also asks sites like this one to tell you that ad companies may use cookies to choose ads based on your earlier visits to this site or to other sites. Adsterra's privacy policy is written for its own website and its customers, and it does not say how long Adsterra keeps data about people who only see its ads. Read Adsterra's privacy policy and its cookies policy. To ask Adsterra about your data, use the contact details in its privacy policy.

How to turn the ads off. If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, no ads load on this site. An ad blocker stops them too. The tools work the same without ads.

What we do not share. Ads are never placed inside a tool. This site does not send what you type, the forms you make or the files you open to Adsterra or to anyone else. The one exception is the search words on the two code lists, explained below.

To be clear about one thing. The ad code is another company's code, and it runs on the same page as the tools. Like any code on a web page, it could technically read that page, including what you type in a form, and what this site saves in your browser. If you want to be sure, turn on Global Privacy Control or an ad blocker, then reload the page before you type bank details or open a file. Then no ad code runs on it.

What our hosting company logs

The site is hosted by IONOS. IONOS says it collects this from visitors: the page or file asked for, the date and time, the website you came from, your browser and its version, your operating system, the type of device, and your IP address in anonymized form. IONOS says it keeps this data for 8 weeks, and that its SiteAnalytics service processes it further. For a click from one page of this site to another, only achforms.com is passed on as the website you came from. We use this data only to keep the site running and secure.

The search box on the two code lists puts your search words in the page address (for example, ?q=R03), so that a reload or the Back button keeps them. When a browser asks our server for that address, the words are part of the page request. This can happen when you reload the page or use the Back button, when a tab is reopened later, or when someone opens a link to it that you shared. The ad code can also read the page address, so these search words can reach Adsterra too. A search with four or more digits in it, apart from a code such as R03, is never put in the address.

Email

If you email us, we keep your message and address so we can reply. We do not add you to a mailing list or share your address.

Fonts and files

The site's own fonts, scripts and images are served from achforms.com itself. The only files that come from other companies' servers are the ads: Adsterra's ad code, the ads and their pictures.

Children

The site is for businesses and adults. It is not directed at children.
